BAND OF FRIENDS 2020
( A Celebration of Rory Gallagher 25th Anniversary)
2020 will see a new line-up for Band of Friends. The band will be celebrating Rory Gallagher’s 25th Anniversary. Gerry McAvoy (Bass Guitar & vocals) will be joined by Brendan ONeill on drums. Gerry played with Rory for 20 years from 1971 – 1991. He appeared on every recording within those years.
He also wrote a book about his experiences on the road,including his time with Rory. Entitled “Riding shotgun”  “ On the road” German version.
Brendan played with Rory for 10 years 1981-1991. He also played on “Jinx” / “Defender” / “ Fresh evidence”.Later joining British R&B band Nine below zero.
Paul Rose ( Guitar) Winner of the Fender sponsored guitar competition, selected by Rory Gallagher out of 1000 guitarists.
Winner of best UK guitarist 2 years running.

Stephan Graf ( Guitar & Vocals). Stephan first heard Rory Gallagher when he was 9 years old. Since then he has toured most of Europe with his, Rory inspired band Double vision.
Gerry McAvoy has led Band of Friends since it was formed in 2012.
After sadly losing Ted McKenna in January 2019, he has decided to continue celebrating Rory’s music with this new line-up.


The Davy K Project
The Davy K Project are a “Live”and energetic, exciting Blues/Rock band from Tyrone/Donegal that are gaining rave reviews in every venue they perform.
Formed 3 years ago, this Irish band has been going from strength to strength and wowing audiences all over Ireland and Europe with their unique delivery of songs both covers and originals.
Led by Blues/Rock guitarist and lead vocalist Davy Kerrigan, who has been in the industry for over 30 yrs, Mark McConnell on Bass and Marty Grieve on drums, the band have just released their nine track debut album”LOCKDOWN” in February 2019 to critical acclaim.
