Join us at the GAA Museum for this very special evening looking back at the Muhammad Ali v  Al 'Blue' Lewis Fight in Croke Park which took place in July 1972, 50 years ago this year. 

This event, part of the Dublin Festival of History, will feature historian James Curry and lecturer, journalist and author Dave Hannigan as they examine the fight as well as Ali's career and legacy. 

First up, James Curry will set the scene for the Croke Park fight looking at Ali's career throughout the previous decade. James will also discuss the programme published for the fight. 

Secondly, journalist Dave Hannigan who wrote the book 'The Big Fight' will discuss the historic boxing match and examine the legacy of the event. 

Tickets for the event are free, but must be booked in advance. Complimentary tea / coffee will also be provided for all guests.
